Be careful of two things when working with fuel:
1. If you are using basic pipes (not Nanopipes), always keep your fuel stability — the red line — above 50% (as indicated by the fixed dark gray line). Basic pipes can only handle fuel with at least 50% stability!
2. Always keep the current fuel performance below its stability. If you set the throttle to a level where performance exceeds fuel stability, the thruster will begin to choke and may eventually explode! For example, the Fuel Analyzer on the right shows 62% performance at 90% throttle, which exceeds the fuel’s 40% stability.
Adding a small amount of blue fuel usually helps to improve stability.
