18Plasma Generator And Shields

Every shield requires plasma to operate. Use a Small Plasma Generator to convert electrical power into plasma.

Plasma cannot be stored or supplied to multiple shields at the same time. Connect the Small Plasma Generator to a source of electrical power, then use the lever to start generating plasma. The plasma will flow to the connected shield and spread across the shield sphere.

The larger the shield radius, the lower its maximum effectiveness. Set the shield radius by sending the desired value to its input port.

The shield’s output port shows the maximum force it can absorb. In this example, the shield can absorb up to 17.21 of wind force. A wind strength of 5.0 would be completely blocked. A wind strength of 20.0 would be reduced to 2.79.
