Up Dock is an independent project, built by a player, with no affiliation to Approximately Games. This page says what the site keeps about you, why, where, and how to ask for it to be deleted.
What the site keeps
Your account. Signing in with Discord brings your e-mail, name and avatar from there; signing in with e-mail brings an e-mail and a password. The password never reaches Up Dock: Supabase, the authentication service the site uses, stores and checks it.
The profile you fill in: display name, handle, banner and avatar.
What you publish: blueprints (the game file, kept whole and unchanged), photos, comments, likes and the objectives you mark as done.
Usage. PostHog records pages visited and clicks; for signed-in users the record carries the account identifier, never the e-mail. Sentry receives errors that happen in your browser — with the URL, the browser and whatever you type into "Report a problem" — and server errors.
Servers keep access logs, with the IP address, for a few days, for diagnostics.
Cookies and local storage
A language cookie (`updock.locale`), which only says whether you prefer Portuguese or English.
Your account session, stored in the browser by Supabase, so you stay signed in.
PostHog identifiers, which tell one visit from another. There is no advertising cookie: the site shows no ads and sells no data.
Where it lives
Database and authentication at Supabase; files (blueprints, photos, thumbnails) at Cloudflare R2; the API at Fly.io, in São Paulo; the site at Vercel; PostHog and Sentry in the United States. Each of these services has its own privacy policy and acts as a data processor for Up Dock.
What is public
Your profile, creations published as public, photos, comments and the like and download counts are visible to anyone, signed in or not, and may be indexed by search engines.
A creation published as private is visible only to you. The blueprint of a public creation can be downloaded by anyone with an account.
Your e-mail is never shown to anyone and is not sent to PostHog or Sentry.
Your rights
You can view and correct your profile on the account page, and delete each creation, photo and comment on the site itself.
To delete the whole account, or to request a copy of what the site holds about you, write to the contact below. The account and everything it published leave the database; a blueprint file may remain in storage if someone else published the same file, because it is addressed by content, not by author.
Under the GDPR, the legal bases are the performance of the service you asked for when creating the account and the legitimate interest of keeping the site running and secure. You may complain to your local supervisory authority.
Age
The site is not meant for people under 13, which is also Discord's minimum age.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that widens what is collected will be announced on the site.
