13Beeper

You can use the Beeper to estimate your height above the ground during landing. Place a Distance Meter on the bottom of your spaceship pointing toward the surface. Because it outputs the current distance in meters, you need to remap this value to the beeper’s input range: at 0 the Beeper is silent, and as the signal approaches 1 it beeps more frequently. To make the Beeper start sounding at about 100 meters above the ground and switch to constant beeping when you are closer than 2 meters, configure the values in the Remapper as shown in the manual.
